Dynamic Believers Christian Church has been called by God to equip the children of God and provide a place for them, to Celebrate God’s Presence, Appreciate God’s Family, Educate God’s People, Demonstrate God’s Love, and Communicate God’s Message.
Our Church was founded in 1994 as the Great Morning Star Baptist Church, by Rev. Samuel L. Brown, Sr. Rev. Brown served faithfully for 17 years as pastor, until he was called from Labor to Reward in January of 2011.
In July of 2011, Rev. Daniel Blackburn was called to serve as Interim Pastor, while the church sought the Lord for a new Pastor. During that time the hearts of the people of Great Morning Star and Rev. Blackburn meshed, and in May of 2012, the church overwhelmingly elected him to be the Pastor.
In September of 2012, the Spirit moved upon Pastor Blackburn and the congregation to change the name from Great Morning Star to Dynamic Believers, a name that we believe reflects the desire of God for his children: That we would be Dynamic (powerful, active, vibrant, full of life, etc.) and the we Believe in His Son, Jesus Christ.
God is continuing to do great things in the Dynamic Believers Church family. In the short time Since Pastor Blackburn has taken leadership souls are being added, technology is being upgraded, cushioned pews have been purchased, and renovations were made to the building. The membership outgrew the 34th Street church, and in April of 2013 an additional service was added. Due to continued growth, Pastor Blackburn brokered a deal to sell the 34th Street Church building, and on July 6, 2014 we marched in and rededicated our current location, the former Good shepherd Lutheran Church at 3617 North 48th Street.

OUR PASTOR
Daniel Blackburn
Born into a family of preachers, Daniel Blackburn developed a great love and appreciation for the Word of God. At the age of 20, he acknowledged the calling to minister the word of God and preached his first public sermon on June 10, 2001.
Daniel Blackburn has served as Youth Minister, Assistant Pastor as well as Church Administrator in various churches. Over the years he has both preached and taught at conferences, conventions, and revivals across this country. As a result many lives have been impacted by the anointed message of hope and deliverance in his preaching.
Daniel has been influenced and mentored by many great preachers and teachers such as, his father,
Rev. Dr. James C. Blackburn, Jr., his pastor, Rev. Joe H. Todd, Rev. Dr. George Waddles, Rev. W.T. Glynn,
and Rev. Dr. Kevin Cosby.
As Senior Pastorof the Dynamic Believers Christian Church in Milwaukee, WI, God is using him
to do great things. He desires to see souls saved, lives changed and God glorified.
He is a strong believer that any ability, any accomplishment, and any appearance
of success he has, is all from God through Jesus Christ.
Daniel and his wife Deborah have been married since August 6, 2011
